How I keep track of scenes and chapters when I’m writing

It can be a mental feat keeping track of what happens in a scene or chapter of a historical fiction novel.  When I started writing fiction, I took on the overwhelming task of writing a full length novel.  To keep myself on track, I created two checklists, one for scenes and one for chapters.

These steps are pretty much in my head these days, so I’m passing them along in case you get the bug to write your own historical fiction stories.  If so, happy writing!
